SpaceX’s Falcon-9 carried our MRC-100 satellite

SpaceX’s Falcon-9 rocket successfully started the Transporter-8 space mission on 12th June 2023.

This mission is particularly exciting for us, as the launched rocket also carried the MRC-100 satellite, with 2 new-generation RadNano units on-board from 27G.

The MRC-100 is the newest member of the SMOG satellite family, named in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Radio Club of the TU Budapest (Műegyetemi Rádió Club).

27G-Technology supported the mission of the MRC-100 with two Radnano units which will monitor the radiation exposure of the satellite during the mission. The MRC-100 carries numerous scientific experiments from various universities and research institutions, the telemetry data will be available on the webpage of the project.
